Monday, June 24th
7:30 – 8:15 am – Registration and Breakfast Provided by Zeswitz Music
8:15 – 8:30 am – Welcome/ Introduction by Yamaha
8:30-10:00 am – Session #1 with Al Chez – “Developing a Leadership Culture Within Your Ensemble”
10:00 – 11:30 am – Session #2 with Al Chez – “Improvisation: Think, Breathe, Play”
** This session is geared for teaching younger students. We ask directors to an instrument to play that is NOT your primary instrument.
11:30 am – 12:45 pm – Lunch on Your Own
12:45 pm – 1:00 pm – History of the MusicMan
1:00 – 4:00 pm – Afternoon Session with Chuck Hagler “Woodwind Repair & Maintenance”
** We ask directors to bring two or three instruments for some ‘hands on’ repair experience.

Tuesday, June 25th

7:30 – 8:15 am – Registration
8:15 – 8:30 am – Welcome/Introduction by Eastman Strings
8:30- 11:30 am – Ryan Joseph – “Teaching Improvisation with Nashville Numbers”
** This session is geared for teaching younger string students. Please bring a string instrument – emphasis on fiddling!
11:30 am – 12:45 pm – Lunch on Your Own
12:45 pm – 1:00 pm – Zeswitz Presentation
1:00 – 4:00 pm – Afternoon Session with Chuck Hagler “Brass Repair & Maintenance”
** We ask directors to bring two or three instruments for some ‘hands on’ repair experience.
