2019 Schoener 5K & One Mile Spirit Walk — Registration NOW OPEN!

Registration Time: Race Day On-Site Registration Opens @ 07:30 am at Drexel Hill Middle School

Runners start @ 9:00 am
One-Mile Spirit Walk @ 9:15 am – Honor Mr. Schoener with a beautiful walk through Arlington Cemetery — All Walkers should meet at the flagpole in front of Toppitzer Funeral Home to start.
5th Annual Mascot Challenge starts at 8:15 am! Does the Stonehurst Stallion have the right moves to keep his crown?? Get there early to join in the fun!
Walk-Up Registration will still be available the morning of the Schoener 5K at Drexel Hill Middle School – 7:30 am-8:30 am
Day of Race Registration does not guarantee a race t-shirt!
The Schoener Fund welcomes local cheering squads of Upper Darby to cheer on our race participants along the course! Expect to be energized by music and school spirit as you walk or run through beautiful Arlington Cemetery!
Don’t miss the post-race activities at the BRAD SCHOENER FESTIVAL OF UPPER DARBY ARTS – 10:00 am to 3 pm! Enjoy more live music right across the street at the Upper Darby Performing Arts Center at the Music Festival to benefit the Brad Schoener Fund.
The Schoener School Spirit Competition Continues! PLUS The Schoener “YMCA” Cup — $500 and a traveling trophy awarded to the UDSD school with the most 5K participants! That includes runners AND walkers! Be sure to represent your favorite school when you register! Special thanks to the YMCA for their support of this award and the young musicians of the Upper Darby School District!
This is a one loop run course, (or one-mile loop walk) in beautiful Arlington Cemetery, the resting place of Upper Darby’s beloved band director, Brad Schoener.
Participation in this event has grown steadily over the last eleven years. We encourage everyone to register EARLY to guarantee your slot as we may sell out by race day!
Parking available at Drexel Hill Middle School and walk to State Road entrance of the Arlington Cemetery.
