ADAPTIVE CREATIVE ARTS EXPERIENCES!

MusicMan Butterfly Buddy programs help children with disabilities foster meaningful friendships through the love of music!

All instruments and sensory materials provided! Your child doesn’t need to have musical training – just have a love for music and be willing to sing and learn to play music with new friends —  six Saturdays starting March 19th! Bring a family member or aide as a ‘buddy’ or meet a new ‘buddy!’ This is a FREE program — all your child needs is a Delaware County Library card!

Butterfly Buddy registration is now open but limited!

Each volunteer “buddy” receives professional training on the needs of your child prior to the first session and will be guided by certified and registered music & dance therapists as well as certified music educators.

Choose either Primos or Municipal Library (according to your child’s developmental age) to enjoy music and movement with a 1:1 “buddy.” All it takes is a library card & a love of music!

SATURDAYS, MARCH 19-APRIL 30

PRIMOS Library: 10:00 - 11:00 am
for developmentally 9-12 year-olds

MUNICIPAL Library: 12 noon-1:00 pm
for developmentally 13-17 year-olds

NO COST! All it takes is your library card! (Please Note: You will need to create a "Jumbula" account the first time you register. Once the account is created - you will be able to use it for any of the MusicMan or SummerStage programs!)
