For the past 9 years of the MusicMan Academy, we have always incorporated yoga and movement into our camp as a way for kids to find calm, de-stress, and focus during a long day of concentrating on their instruments. We didn’t know back in 2013 that we should have called it “mindfulness” — we just knew it was a essential part of our camp curriculum!  Our campers learn that stress can be managed by focusing on breathing and positive energy in lessons, rehearsals, and everyday life!
